Latin Group DW3: A New Generation of Soul & Jazz

Album: “On the Floor”

Producers : Paul Brown & Bryant Siono

“On the floor”, the highly anticipated new album hit digital I-tunes January, 25 2011 . Tracy Thomas at 1580 AM WBCP says, “Thank God for a refreshing vibe, nice wonderful urban melodic groove. It will definitely get your head and toes moving” . DW3 comes from a generation of the hit 1970s group Tierra, which you may remember them from the 1980s hit songs like “ Together”, “Gonna find her” and “Memories”. Well, it seems as though the music magic runs in the family. This album  brings a mix sounds of blues with live bands, old school groove sprinkled over the classic sounds of jazz and soul all wrapped into one. The album is exactly what we’ve been missing! There aren’t many albums left where you can press play and sit back and enjoy. DW3 is truly a group that can touch all crowds. For the last 3 years DW3 has had the pleasure of performing on the Warren Hill, Wayman Tisdale and Dave Koz Jazz Cruises.

They performed on shows like City of Lights Jazz Fest, Newport Jazz Festival, Long Beach Jazz Fest, BB Kings, Vault 30 and recently on the Annual Taste of Soul Festival in Los Angeles to name a few. This group gives this new generation the art of harmonies and the craft of musicianship that ended with groups like Boys 2 Men, Shy, and After 7,with a pleasant reminder of  the soothing sound of Luther Vandross, Teddy P, and Will Downing. With hit singles like  “On the Floor” and “I got you” sweeping the jazz radio charts DW3 surely has a lasting power. Simply put, DW3 is like a cold glass of water on a hot summer day !!!                                    DW3 Facebook
