Jumping the Broom’s Lead Laz Alonso Joins SBI Agency

If you pay close attention, you’ll notice this is the Actor from the Hit Film “Jumping the Broom”. Laz Alonso is a force to be reckoned with. He is handsome, sexy, loving, talented and the leading man in many of his most recent and upcoming films. With over 20 roles under his belt, Laz is the next big actor in the entertainment industry. Laz can be seen in the lead role of “Tsu’Tey” in the highest grossing film of all time, Avatar!  Directed by James Cameron, this sci-fi epic released by 20th Century Fox stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, and Sigourney Weaver.  

As a businessman, actor and now speaker, Laz is lending his talents to the audience of empowerment, faith, power and most of all motivation. Darlene McCoy performs at Atlanta Praise in the Park

Praise in the Park  has been a phenomenal showcase experience of local acts in the Atlanta area and this year National Recording Artist Darlene McCoy graces the stage with her presence. This year’s event will take place August 6 in Centennial Olympic Park starting at 12 noon until 8pm!

DW3 set to perform at 26th Annual Imagen Awards

The Imagen Awards kicks off their 26th Annual Awards with a new face and it’s DW3. The popular growing Latin Jazz/R&B group will be performing at the awards this year in Beverly Hills at the Beverly Hilton hotel on Friday August 12th 2011. The Imagen Awards aims to recognize and reward positive portrayals of Latinos in all forms of media, as well as to encourage and recognize the achievements of Latinos in the entertainment and communications industries. The Imagen Foundation works to create, promote, and enhance opportunities for all Latinos in front of and behind the camera and throughout the entertainment industry, and serve as a liaison between the industry and the Latino community.

On June 26th, nominees were announced where several tv shows, episodes made categories like Best Primetime Television Program of the Week, Best National Informational Program, Best Feature Film, and Best Children’s Programming. Some great nominees are Selena Gomez, Lopez Tonight Show,  Law & Order: Los Angeles, Lies in Plain Sight and so many more.
