Nappiology is the study of napptural (nappy and natural) hair. We educate, embrace and celebrate our natural beauty and nappy roots. Nappiology is an engaged napptural hair community of more than 2000 members who read the nappiology discussion board material, submit salon and product suggestions and also reviews or locates stylist in the Dallas /Ft Worth, TX area. We’re an active social networking hair group bonded together by our love of natural beauty and nappy roots.

The Nappiology community is composed of those visiting the site to learn, share, and make informed purchases and decisions across multiple categories and material. In the hair care category alone, a signficant percentage of our nappiology members buya large numberof natural hair care products per month. One out of three nappiology members spend more than $300 per year on natural hair products.

Nappiology, Inc hosted its third(3rd) natural hair show for those who lived in the DFW and surrounding areas on November 2011. We had over 2000 people to attend last year.  The 2009, 2010 and 2011 natural hair shows were a huge success in the DFW community!

Tracy “Twinkie” Byrd 5 Tips to Become a Successful Actor!

Tip 1: Don’t Try To Impress Anyone But Yourself!

“Impressing means your putting on” says Byrd. Just be your authentic self,  and if you don’t know your authentic self then that’s a problem.

Tip 2: Don’t Be On  Time, Be Early!

“To be on time is to be late, and to be late is unacceptable, period” Byrd states. This is a general rule of thumb in the industries, so it’s always best practice to be punctual because time is money.

Tip 3: Study Your Craft Or Prepare To Fail.

“Being passionate about a career path is to be knowledgeable, so no matter how talented you are you won’t get far if you don’t take the time to study your craft” says Byrd.

Tip 4: Say, You’re Welcome

While Byrd recognizes showing gratefulness is a good idea, actors should leave the audition knowing they did a good job worthy of a compliment.

Tip 5: Find inspiration living your life!

“Your life informs your work” says Byrd. Living and giving to the fullest will help your craft.
