The trailer for the drama-mystery “Missing” starring actress Wendy Raquel Robinson has been released ahead of its official premiere next month. Robinson and Birmingham area students from the On The Set summer film camp program shot the movie back in July. “Missing” is about an independent young girl who discovers that life outside her mother’s home isn’t what she thought it would be.
Missing” will premiere Thursday November 1 at The Alabama Theater at 6:30 p.m. Also at the red-carpet event there will be an awards show in which campers will take home honors in categories like Best Director, Best Actress, Best Actor, and Best Producer. The program which teaches young aspiring filmmakers the ins and outs of the movie industry is celebrating its fifth anniversary.
In addition to Robinson who stars in the hit BET sitcom “The Game”, the campers have been mentored by fellow film and television stars Tonea Stewart, Darren Henson, Malik Yoba and Kadeem Hardison.
