The big winners of the 40th American Music Awards on Sunday (November 18) where pop sensation Justin Bieber and his “Beauty and a Beat” collaborator Nicki Minaj.
Justin took home three awards, including Artist of the Year, while Nicki launched two trophies — including Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist and Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album for Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.
During her acceptance speech, not surprisingly, she dedicated the awards to her “Barbz”, aka her fans. “I love you so much, you are so passionate and so inspiring,” Nicki said. “Thank you so much for voting your little tiny fingers off. I could just eat you and kiss you and love you and hug you. Other winners included Beyoncé (Favorite Soul/R&B Female Artist), Rihanna (Favorite Soul/R&B Album), and Usher (Favorite Soul/R&B Male Artist).
